Well last night while driving home I get a call from a friend saying lets meet for a drink and I’m thinking I could really use a drink after this day. I planned on going home to freshen up and do all the things us women do before we go out to a bar. Well that did not happened, I figured if I go home I’m not coming back out. I just went as is no make-up with a yoga outfit on this should be interesting. My friend called and said he was at the bar next to the place we usually go so I just said whatever. It ended up being a pleasant surprise. Here all this time I have been in Santa Monica going to the place I usually go I did not even realize there was a better place next door this Bohemian wine and beer bar. Hey, they may not have all the booze and bottles but maybe it was time for a change from all that.(not that I’m a big drinker or anything) This was such a laid back what the heck place. They had a great selection of beers and wines so pretty much whatever you wanted you could get. There was mostly neighborhood people there which gave it a very home like feel not to mention the service at the bar was pretty impressive with the attentiveness of the bartenders. It made going to have a drink much more pleasant then having to stand at the bar and chase the bartender down. I would recommend this place if you just want to go out and have a drink and don’t want to be bothered with all the extravagances of going out in the city . Besides the nice thing about Santa Monica is that there is plenty of reasonable parking structures and also you can pretty much walk where you want to go unlike LA where you will be paying a lot for valet parking and watered down drinks!……Sahata Says

A good relationship with your fellow co-workers can make for a happier, more productive work environment. However, disputes often arise and making work difficult at times. Although coworkers may have similar skill sets, personality differences may outweigh these parallels. Differences in temperament, goals, speed and ability can create conflict among two or more people within an organization and hinder the organization’s level of success. Sun signs are an excellent resource to explain how to improve interpersonal office relationships with fellow coworkers and associates. Read on to learn more about how your coworkers see you and how you can better relate to them … ARIES
Being at the center of the group is important to Aries coworkers in order for them to thrive in the environment. Aries are notorious for starting a new project or initiating new strategies, but rarely do they finish the task. However, Aries coworkers can be counted on to hold up their end of shared responsibilities and maintain a positive outlook. Aries hides the fact that they’re easily discouraged, therefore it is important for them to be reassured by their colleagues. Being valued by others for their contributions is usually all they need to be productive in their work environment.
TAURUS
Taurus coworkers are the most dependable of Sun signs and they should not be taken advantage of or pushed beyond reasonable bounds. Taurus coworkers are strong team players unless they are innately opposed to the direction or task at hand. They will rebel by either easing back on their efforts or simply ask to be transferred, or quit. Taurus is great at balancing the budget and managing finances as this sign is adept at stretching the dollar. Taurus coworkers will take the practical approach in initiating and completing tasks at hand with their feet and mind firmly planted on solid ground.
GEMINI
Gemini coworkers excel in the workforce with a plethora of immediate responsibilities such as answering phones, taking orders, creating sales and marketing presentations and hosting social events. Geminis add life and excitement to the group, however if there are too many twins in the pack, they will distract one another with conversation and struggle to complete their responsibilities. Gemini coworkers can be counted on to step in on behalf of a fellow coworker who is on vacation or has called in sick. Witty and loquacious, they thrive in social work settings and various on-site locations throughout the day, versus working solo behind a desk.
CANCER
It is best to approach Cancer coworkers in a non-threatening manner as it takes time for Cancers to trust others as well as their environment. Once a feeling of camaraderie or polite attention has been established only then may you may proceed with your question, observation, or request of your Cancer coworker. Cancers base their decisions on instinct and need to know they have the respect of those they work with. They thrive on long-term responsibilities, are excellent money managers and are the most loyal sign in the entire zodiac, especially when they feel safe and secure. When committed to any projects at work, of professional or nonprofessional nature, Cancers can be counted on to go above and beyond what is expected of them, and provide the highest standard of services.
LEO
Leos naturally possess strong management skills and they can serve as an important part of any organization if they remain too long at low-level position. Know that Leos will seek to be promoted in the work place, which often arouses resentment from their colleagues. Should they be denied to show off their talents from superiors, they think nothing of departing to another organization that will show more appreciation for their skills. They are highly ambitious, however, it is difficult for them to remain a faithful employee when they prefer to run the show, viewing their colleagues more as servants and assistants.
VIRGO
Virgo coworkers often grow very close to their coworkers as both professionals and as friends. Although they may prefer working solo, Virgo coworkers are proud of their achievements as part of a team. In such groups they rarely demand to assume a leadership role but normally are content to play a significant part. Virgos are very hard workers, thrive on the thrill of completing a task and do not believe in passing off an assignment to a fellow co-worker that they themselves wouldn’t want to handle. Virgos are usually tactful and considerate, but they can come across as non-emotional or even cold with their natural inclination to stick to the facts.
LIBRA
Libra coworkers are sociable, charming, approachable and easy to talk to. They’re also known for their strong diplomatic skills. Libras are well known for their ability to brighten up their environment and their good nature is noted in a smile or witty remark. Libra coworkers enjoy the company of others and are quite capable in producing high-quality work when left alone. They also know how to function as part of a team and if they do make errors of judgment, they are likely to admit their shortcomings to the group. In most cases they are easily forgiven as a result of their charm and magnetic influence of their personalities.
SCORPIO
Scorpio coworkers thrive when presented with the responsibility of the most difficult and challenging tasks. Their level of intelligence is strong and their analytical capabilities and intuitive abilities are an asset to any organization. They are highly self-motivated and do well in jobs that require a great deal of concentration. Scorpio coworkers do not quit or back down easily, nor are they intimidated by and complex tasks. They have a great deal of willpower and play to win. This leads them to be aggressive and inflexible at times with colleagues. Scorpios are shrewd and can read the power plays that happen in every office, manipulating this to their advantage.
SAGATTARIUS
Sagittarius coworkers are usually friendly and cooperative when it comes to relating to their peers. Known to be hard workers, but not a huge fan of the corporate work setting, Sagittarians can be counted on by colleagues to lend a helping hand in almost any difficult situation, offering their everlasting optimism. They prefer to solve problems on their own rather than playing the role of a team player. Sagittarius has a strong desire for direction and seek a higher purpose in life. Sagittarius does well with coworkers when they are positioned to teach or mentor others. They dread routine and will seek out new thrills if not given the independence at work to express themselves freely.
CAPRICORN
Capricorn coworkers form a solid part of any work team and can perform at an adequate or high level for years on end. They are good managers and provide a strong shoulder for associates to lean on. Capricorns do not mind burning the midnight oil at work if they are convinced it will take them up the corporate ladder, which often labels them by their colleagues as workaholics. Capricorn coworkers are fond of office parties, celebrations, and special events that allow them to enjoy being part of the herd. Capricorn coworkers are known to single out one particular friend among their fellow employees whom they usually have lunch with or take a coffee break with permitting there is time to do so.
AQUARIUS
Aquarius coworkers can be very accepting of their associates and are sensitive to the feelings of others. They are forward-thinking individuals, usually many light years ahead of the rest of the world. Preferring to keep it light, Aquarius coworkers prefer to keep their work environment easygoing, boasting witty remarks to their colleagues at appropriate times. There is a sparkle in an Aquarius coworker’s personality that is often highly valued in the workforce as it lifts the spirits and morale in others. However, sometimes they can come across as cold by others as they sometimes appear aloof and may stay firmly detached from deep emotional experiences.
PISCES
The Pisces coworker is the ultimate champion for the underdog. This sign will be every associate’s best friend, favorite shoulder to lean on and become identified as the most compassionate soul in the office. Pisces prefers working in a relaxed environment where their colleagues have a carefree attitude toward one another. The Pisces coworker can be a bit of a mystery, however. Emotional and sensitive, they’d rather spend time daydreaming than working. They have a strong sense of idealism that shows through in their work, and remain aware that if this quality is present, things will flow smoothly.
The current economic crises has shown us a phenomenal example of how too much power and control in our society can cause major destruction. Which may be inevitable in situations that involves money and lots of it. This has been the absolute worse economic crises in the history of our country as we all know. The definition of Greed is; an excessive desire to possess wealth or goods. In Theology is considered one of the “seven deadly sins”. Excessive being the key adjective and in my opinion the major problem in our society. When is enough , enough? Nothing “Good” comes out of being greedy. If you over eat you gain unwanted weight, if you over drink you spend the whole next day begging God to take the pain away and saying how you’ll never drink again and if you use your power or control excessively you can really do damage to people. Now if you’re a heartless human being and you could care less about any pain and suffering that you endure on anyone that’s fine, but remember Karma has everyone’s address including yours. Be hungry and passionate when pursuing your dreams but there is no need to be greedy!

I love Ten Over Six, the Los Angeles-based multi-brand store that sells its own line of incredibly affordable, incredibly adorable handbags.
That’s why I was a little surprised to see Bottega Veneta’s spring clutch. While not a full-on copy of the TOS bag, the former certainly borrows from the latter.
What do you think? Is Bottega guilty of stealing an idea, or were its designers simply inspired?……Sahata Says
I relax my ultra-curly, ultra-thick, ultra-coarse hair, so for years I’ve struggled with ways to make a blowout last longer than a day. Not washing your hair every day is something that’s difficult to get used to, even for someone whose hair doesn’t really get greasy.
So about two years ago, I started using dry shampoo–and it’s seriously changed my life. I can keep a blowout longer and even when I don’t blow dry, I can skip a day by just spraying some of this old-fashioned stuff on my roots.
(My Friend’s)–whose hair is a bit thinner than mine (but much more lustrous)–says that while she couldn’t use dry shampoo when her hair was longer, it works with her shorter hairstyle. However, she also says that “Dry shampoo is like Febreeze for your hair. It still doesn’t feel clean, even if it looks and smells clean.”
I, personally, must disagree. Dry shampoo has changed my life! Here are our reviews of the good and the bad.
Worst: Treseme Fresh Start, $5. Ew. This stuff is gross. It feels like hairspray. I used it this morning and my hair feels disgusting.
Okay: Bumble and Bumble Hair Powder, $35. It makes your hair soft–and it’s nice that it matches your hair color–but it’s pricey and I always ended up getting in on my face. (I have black hair, so it looked like coal or something.)
Best: Label M., $14. This gave (My Friend’s) hair plenty of volume.
Best: Klorane, $18. This is the ultimate dry shampoo, in my humble opinion. It makes your hair soft, doesn’t feel sticky and absorbs quickly.
One of my favorite things to do if I’m alone or with a group of friends is to stop by Pourtal and put $25 on a wine card and go wine tasting . Pourtal is a little chic and vibrant wine bar located on Santa Monica Blvd and Ocean Ave. You have a broad selection of wines from international , local and organic. The name Pourtal speaks for its self, you do exactly that! Just grab a glass and walk around the bar and select different wines you would like to taste. I love it! Girls just want to have fun and Guys just want to pick up beautiful women! As you can see its a win,win situation:) The most happening nights are Thursday-Saturday and also check out their website for special events……Sahata Says
