Party NYC Style in Santa Monica

Who would of thunk it? There is a place you can party like a rock-star NYC style roof-top in Santa Monica! One day on a sunny Sunday while waiting for my medi and pedi I decided to grab something to snack on next door. I actually ordered from the sushi bar downstairs and I asked where can I find the bathroom, that’s when I found a great discovery.

While walking to the bathroom I saw that there was a door that lead to outside, Hmmmm being the inquisitive person I am I decided to take a peak. Wow, it was breathtaking! This was an outside area with leather couches,DJ, heater lamps not to mention its on the freakin rooftop! I had a flash-back of my NYC party days immediately. It was like you were in a new city within a city inside a restaurant. (if that makes any sense?) The area was blocked in by these red brick buildings that had fire escapes and rugged windows, it looked like buildings you would see in NYC. This was the main characteristic that added the east coast vibe to this place. Besides it did not take away from the ambiance of the restaurant/lounge it still maintained that upscale chic feel.

I asked the bartender when is a good night to come?, he said Saturday’s get pretty busy. (Anyone who knows me I am not a person who takes someone’s word I usually check it out myself.) So I came back that following Saturday. The bartender was right! It was very busy, very happening, flooded with beautiful people, good music and lets just say they know how to pour a drink! This was “The Place” to be on a Saturday night. So far.
